Purity 99-99.9%
Purity 99-99.9%
Typical Applications
Yttrium is used in Aluminum (Al) and Magnesium (Mg) alloys to increase their strength and oxidation resistance. It combines aluminum in garnets to make lasers that can cut metals. Compounds of Yttrium are used in specialty glasses to make them heat and shock-resistant superconductors and phosphors.
Packaging Options
Shipped under an inert gas or air-stable bottle
