Titanium (Ti) Metal is a useful alloying agent and is combined with other metals to improve their strength and widen temperature range stability at extreme temperatures. These alloys are used to manufacture a wide range of products, from aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles to golf clubs, laptops, bicycles, and crutches. Titanium is used in power plant condensers, as well as the protection of the hulls of ships, submarines, and other structures exposed to seawater. Medical implants, e.g., hip joints, are also made from titanium.
