Highlights of 2021

Like the rest of the world, Reade Advanced Materials encountered new challenges meeting our customer’s requirements due to raw material shortages, logistic delays, and unprecedented increases in cost. We are thankful to our team who worked tirelessly to provide the best possible customer service and keep our customers supplied given these circumstances. During this year, READE’s products were exported to 35 countries as shown below.

The top selling products of 2021 ranged from aluminum powder to silver powder with rhodium powder being our most popular product. 

CULTURE AT READE

Throughout 2021 we welcomed new team members, celebrated 65 years of experience with 4 employees, and honored a long-term employee’s retirement.

We were not only fortunate to welcome three new members into the Reade family, but we were also able to celebrate several work anniversaries.  Meet Lisa Taylor, our new Purchasing Associate. You might hear her on the other end of the phone line the next time you call to place an order!

After 18 dedicated and loyal years at READE, Adrienne Houle, our Administrative Manager, will retire at the end of this month. She has decided that the time has come to relax and enjoy more of life! We will miss her eagle eye for detail and vast knowledge of the entire administrative side of our business. PROUDEST MOMENTS

• Customer Service Investment: The implementation of Salesforce was accomplished to help us keep better track of our customers and their individual needs, remaining a helpful partner year after year.
• Team Growth: We hired one administrative and two sales employees this year. This will keep us delivering the high standard of service READE has been known for.  
• Met Top Industry Quality Standards: In April we received our recertification of ISO 9001:2015, ensuring READE continues to meet the global standard for Quality Management Systems and the efficiency for products, services, and international supply chains.
• Joined the Women in Manufacturing Organization:  In joining Women in Manufacturing, we will continue to empower women in our field and support employee’s professional development.
• Community Outreach: READE established a new partnership with Meals on Wheels Rhode Island as a corporate sponsor for their 2021 Festival of Meals.
