Typical Applications

Zinc formaldehyde sulfoxylate is used to reduce a wide range of organic and inorganic compounds. It is used in the textile industry to bleach and strip dyes from fabrics and in the paper industry to remove residual chlorine from the pulp.
It is also used to produce photographic materials, as a stabilizer for color developers, and as a reducing agent for photographic fixing solutions.
