Tungsten(VI) Oxide (WO₃)

Tungsten(VI) Oxide (WO₃), also known as tungsten trioxide, is a bright canary-yellow crystalline solid that, in pure form, is an electric insulator. It changes color to dark orange on heating but regains its bright yellow color when cooled.

Purity: 99.9% up to 99.99%
Typical Applications

Tungsten(VI) Oxide is used to manufacture tungsten and tungstates. These products are then used as X-ray screens and for fireproofing fabrics. Tungsten(VI) Oxide is used as a ceramic pigment. Nanowires of the compound can absorb solar radiation, including blue light.

Packaging Options

Jars, pails, drums, multi-ply paper bags, bulk bags, and fiberboard containers
