Tungsten Carbide
WC powders are available as fine, medium, and coarse-grained cuts.
Tungsten carbide has applications in the tool and die industry for drilling and cutting tools. It is also used to manufacture sandblasting nozzles and armor-piercing bullets and is incorporated into studs to increase the traction of tires. It is also used in wear-resistant coatings in manufacturing precision components with abrasive and adhesive wear, preventing seizure problems, and for dry machining applications. Sports equipment, such as trekking poles, also employ tungsten carbide in the parts which contact hard surfaces.
