Strontium Titanate (SrTiO₃)
Strontium titanate (SrTiO₃), or Strontium Titanium Oxide, is an insoluble powder. Insoluble in water and most solvents. It is the model system for perovskite ceramics because it is stable in the cubic crystal system above-168ºC It is a high dielectric constant material (225-250).

Typical Applications
Strontium titanium oxide is used as a diamond simulant and in electronics and electrochemical insulation. Strontium titanate has uses in precision optics, varistors, advanced ceramics, and photocatalysis. It is also used as a strontium-90 in radioisotope thermoelectric generators.
