Sodium Lignosulfonate

Sodium lignosulfonate is a natural, biodegradable material, brownish-yellow powder or liquid. It is produced from the sulfite pulping process of wood. Sodium lignosulfonate is a versatile and widely used material in various industrial applications due to its dispersant, binding, and emulsifying properties. Its natural and biodegradable nature makes it an attractive alternative to synthetic chemicals. In contrast, its ability to improve the performance and quality of products makes it a valuable additive in many industries.
Typical Applications

Sodium lignosulfonate is commonly used as a dispersant, binder, and emulsifier in various industrial applications and is widely used in the construction, animal feed, and agriculture industries.
In construction, it is used as a water-reducing admixture in concrete to improve workability, reduce water content, and enhance the strength of the concrete. It is also used as a dust suppressant in road construction and as a soil stabilizer in landscaping and as erosion control in construction and agriculture.

It is used as a pellet binder in the animal feeding industry and a flavoring agent and source of fiber in animal diets.
