Rhenium Diboride (ReB₂)
Rhenium diboride (ReB₂) is a synthetic super hard metal formed from a mixture of rhenium, noted for its resistance to high pressure and boron, which forms short, strong covalent bonds with rhenium. It has a hardness comparable to diamond, and since its production does not involve high pressures, it has a relatively low production price compared to other hard synthetic materials.
Purity: Up to 99.999%
