Olive Pit Powders & Flour
Any micron sizes available
Olive stone is used by the cosmetics industry as a natural additive, especially for abrasive applications, i.e., exfoliants, hand cleaners, etc.
The food industry uses olive pit powder as a replacement for fishmeal or bone meal or other animal-derived flours for vegan/vegetarian pet foods, and it serves as a texturizer and thickening agent for various foods and food additives.
Olive stones also act as fillers in material science, being added to ceramics, coatings, composites, polymers, asphalt, and bitumen since they are reactive (not inert) fillers with strong binding and texturizing capabilities that can be easily dyed, blended and have proven to boost resistance, tensile strength, and lifespan of numerous materials.
Olive stone also has applications as a developing metal biosorbent for Pb(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Cd(II), and olive stone waste may be a low-cost alternative for the treatment of wastewater contaminated with heavy metals.
