Niobium (IV) Selenide (NbSe₂)

Niobium diselenide (NbSe₂) is a gray-black solid that is a two-dimensional layered inorganic nanomaterial. It has higher electrical conductivity than graphite and a wide temperature stability range. It is used as a lubricant and conductor at high temperatures and high vacuum.

Nb= 37.04%
Se= 62.96%

Typical Purity= 99.8% min. – 99.99%

Typical Applications

Niobium Selenide has applications in photocatalysis, photovoltaics, gas sensing, lithium-ion batteries, field effect transistors, and spintronics. It is used in thin film solar cells, electricity brushes, and special bearings. It is sometimes used as a lubricant at high temperatures
