Iron pyrite has a variety of industrial applications in many industries. Iron pyrite powder can be used as a raw material in producing sulfuric acid, sulfur dioxide, and iron sulfate and can be used as a catalyst. Iron pyrite powder can be used as a semiconductor material to produce solar cells. It also can be used as an aggregate in concrete. SULFEX Iron Pyrite FeS₂ powders have specific use as a grinding-active filler in resin-bonded grinding wheels and cut-off wheels, brake linings, etc.
