Gallium(III) Oxide (Ga₂O₃)

Gallium(III) Oxide is an ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor. It is a white powder that is insoluble in water but soluble in hot alkalis and acids. It has multiple polymorphs; however, the monoclinic β-phase is the most stable and has a melting point of 1900ºC.

Purity: 99.995%
Typical Applications

Gallium(III) Oxide has broad application prospects in optoelectronic devices. It is mainly used for gas sensors and luminescent phosphors and can also be used for dielectric coatings of solar cells. Other uses include semiconductors, gas sensing, and in the field of catalysis. Gallium oxide is also used for crystal growth in the production process for YAG lasers and IGZO target production for displays.
