Gallium(III) nitrate hydrate is used to prepare gallium nitride, which is used as a solar cell array for satellites and other gallium compounds. Additionally, gallium nitrate is used in many applications including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical applications, veterinarian applications, and the production of catalysts.
Gallium Nitrate is only available in an aqueous form:
• 15 gal plastic drums – 7.5kg Ga contained (75 kg of Ga(NO₃)₃ solution)
• 55 gal plastic drums – 25kg Ga contained (250 kg of Ga(NO₃)₃ solution)
• 1,000L IBC totes – 125kg Ga contained (1250 kg of Ga(NO₃)₃ solution)
The plant can also supply custom packaging in HDPE bottles that are specific to customers’ requirements.
