Typical Applications
Europium(III) oxide (Eu₂O₃) is widely used as a red or blue phosphor in television sets and fluorescent lamps. It is also used as an activator for yttrium-based phosphors and as an agent for manufacturing fluorescent glass. Also used in semiconductors, LSO laser media, nuclear industry, ceramics, and scientific uses.
