Dysprosium Oxide (Dy₂O₃), also referred to as Dysprosium Trioxide or Dysprosium(III) oxide, is an oxide compound of the rare earth metal dysprosium. It is a pastel yellowish-greenish-colored solid that is slightly hygroscopic and thermally stable.

Typical Applications
Dysprosium Oxide is combined with nickel in cermets used as nuclear reactor control rods.
It is also used in ceramics, glass, phosphors, lasers, and dysprosium metal halide lamps.
