It is a crystalline carbonate mineral with a snow-white or gray color.

Typical Applications
Dolomite is used as a fluxing agent for iron and steel, as well as glass manufacturing. It is used as a pH buffering agent and as a magnesium source in horticulture and in saltwater aquariums. Other uses include filler, extender, asphalt roofing, plastering, adhesives, and coatings
