Essential Business Status Update

We are writing today to update all of our customers that READE remains here to support your business during these challenging times. READE has been deemed an Essential Business as defined by Homeland Security and the DOD as part of the Defense Industrial Base Essential Critical Infrastructure, per their memorandum dated 20 March 2020. As you may be aware, national and local governments are beginning to institute directives that impose restrictions on business activities in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19. While we fully support preparedness efforts by government entities, we have a responsibility to maintain business continuity and provide our products used in life-saving technologies and government defense applications as we respond to this global pandemic.

Our sales, customer service, shipping and quality operations will remain open. If you are producing essential products such as safety / medical equipment, infrastructure / government applications, or other critical products please let us know. We want to give you the priority processing you need.

The safety of our employees remains paramount and we will continue to act in accordance with CDC guidelines including:
• maintaining a minimum distance of 6 feet between persons;
• ensuring employees practice appropriate hygiene measures, including regular, thorough handwashing;
• ensuring that employees who are sick remain home; and
• regularly cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
